Field forces

"Central force", Jane’s is at the center of the 8th floor, with three transparent sides and only one main wall; Therefore, at the beginning of conception, we assumed that the effect after rolling and landing should be presented in the form of a "building structure", rather than a closed indoor space. It is translucent visually and visually, and should actively interact with the surrounding environment and pedestrians; Finally, the visual focus is formed in the same layer area to produce "central force".

Challenge

How to have high recognition in a cluttered environment? How to realize the "lantern" effect of lighting? Because it is a structure and translucent in concept, we associate it with lanterns. Therefore, in terms of lighting design, we focus on realizing the luminous effect in the "lantern". How to resist the downward gravity of the metal plate? How to organize "heavy" materials in a "light" way? Vertical pole support or hoisting? How to persuade the owner and the property to accept the "hanging" method of steel plate facade?

Atmosphere

Gravity: the elevation of the whole building space is surrounded by 10 layers of metal plates, of which the lower 4 layers fall to the ground and the upper 6 layers are suspended. The 6 layers of 4 millimeter steel plates are very heavy. It is considered to use thin steel columns or mirror stainless steel plates to support vertically to achieve the effect of suspension between plates. However, after repeated experiments and discussions with the construction party, it is finally decided to adopt the form of wire rope hoisting, Reduce the distance between the originally planned steel wire ropes, that is, increase the number of steel wire ropes, and the three adjacent points are "triangular" connection points up and down, which is conducive to the stability of the finishing facade. In this way, there are continuous circular steel plates in the horizontal direction, and the steel wire ropes straightened due to the downward gravity of the steel plate in the longitudinal direction. They are very thin and 2millimeter but very powerful. From a distance, these steel wire ropes "disappear", The steel plate floats;

Cohesion: structurally, we also repeatedly calculated and deliberated, and finally issued the structural calculation sheet. Our client and Construction team agreed to fix the upper steel plate by hanging (not allowed at first, considering safety); The bar and the background wall of the bar are located on the only solid wall on the site. We focus on the arc storage modeling space for the background wall and emphasize the subjectivity of the bar. Outside the bar is the sitting area. The outer sitting area is surrounded by the steel plate radian of the facade. A long table is set in the middle. One end of the long table is vertically fixed with a diameter of 150 acrylic column and embedded with RGB variable light, Make the space have a sense of "aggregation".
